While I am certainly not a RAW hater and am happy to feed my GSD a raw diet; I do not believe that all dogs are suited to it. I have a greyhound, a sloughi, a pharaoh hound and a saluki; none of these dogs did well on a raw diet. In fact, they all lost weight, quickly lost muscle tone and their beautiful shiny coats. My vet agreed that raw is often not suited to sighthounds. Furthermore, there is yet to be any statistical proof that raw is better than cooked.

Hi, i am very interested in making my own minced meat. I have a great local butcher who supplies me with chicken carcases and I would like to mince some of these. I do not know what mincer to buy, as the ones i've seen look to weak to cope with bone. Can you tell me which one you use?

I intend to wean my new litter onto raw shortly and would like to add your book into each of the puppy packs I give to new owners, however the price quoted £15.99 is prohibitive. Is there any discount for bulk buying - I'll be wanting 7 copies.

hi, i have two dogue de bordeauxs and i am looking to make the change to go RAW. I am currently doing some research on the subject but i would like to go a step further and actually maybe meet someone who promotes this way of feeding. Are u in the uk? If so are you anywhere near manchester? Thanks
